As an adult living with the effects of childhood trauma, I create works centered on connecting self to society. This includes exploration on belonging, control, abandonment, loneliness and repair

Using mainly acrylic on canvas, the works take many forms from prints to pen on paper.

I use symbols in my work which create patterns. These symbols are fragments representing chaos and individuality.

The # symbol features regularly in my work for all the times I felt silenced or I silenced myself, acting as a democratic symbol to create any narrative.

As part of my process I invite members of the public to contribute to the works in its infancy. This process is called the #WonderworldProject.
